Kim Vilcapoma Aranda is the Out-of-School Time Assistant Director at Guadalupe School. Born and raised in Idaho, Kim is the daughter of immigrants from Huancayo, Peru, and proudly connects to their Indigenous Huanca heritage — a lineage rooted in the Mantaro Valley’s traditions of art, community, and resilience. Kim graduated with High Honors in Studio Art from Middlebury College, where their creative practice focused on storytelling through printmaking, animation, and socially engaged art. Before joining Guadalupe, Kim coordinated youth leadership and mindfulness programs with the Flourish Foundation. In their spare time, Kim trains in boxing, experiments with new art techniques, and enjoys time with their two rescue cats.
