Guadalupe Center has a free English-language program for adult immigrants and refugees.
With a commitment of two days a week, you can improve your English for a better-paying job, better housing, and a better quality of life.
Through our program, you will learn ways to thrive in the United States—whether communicating with your employer or advocating for yourself at the doctor’s office, our classes focus on navigating everyday life.
Limited childcare and transportation are provided if needed. Students must be 17 years old or older to attend.

Evening Classes
Tuesday & Thursday (Year-Round, Always Enrolling)
- Small group instruction: 6:30-9:00 PM
- Optional conversation class: 6:00 – 6:30 PM
- All levels welcome
- U.S. Citizenship, English, Computers, Job Readiness
- Transportation and childcare services available
Monday & Wednesday (Enrollment Periods: October, January, April)
- Beginner/Intermediate levels only

- Enrollment: We are not currently accepting applications at this time. Enrollment will open in October 2025.
- Cost: Free classes; $25 per textbook
- Attendance: Minimum 2 classes per week (70% attendance required)
