Alicia Lucas attended Brigham Young University and California State East Bay and graduated with a degree in English. She worked as an editor for a few years before staying home to raise her four children. During that time period, she volunteered in numerous community organizations, including an English Language program. She loves working with refugees and immigrants so went back to school and earned a TESOL certification from the University of Utah. Alicia began working in the Adult Education Program at Guadalupe in 2017. In her free time, Alicia enjoys reading, running, hiking, and playing board games.
