Hi! My name is Jessie Tanner. I have lived in Utah my whole life, except for two fun years in Montreal, Canada. I used to be a figure skater, which is what got me into teaching. I coached for eight years while getting my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and my master’s degree in Reading and Literacy from the University of Utah. I was a reading tutor at the University of Utah Reading Clinic and have taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade. I am passionate about helping every student become a successful reader. I enjoy traveling, playing video and board games, and snuggling with my dogs while watching movies or reading a good book.
